- The Mueller Martini Acoro A7, manufactured in 2006, is a sophisticated gathering and perfect binding machine designed for high-volume book production. The Acoro A7 features a gathering machine of type 3693 with 9 gathering stations and a hand feeding station. The perfect binder, type Acoro A7 3027-22, includes 22 clamps and an infeed with coupling to a ZU gathering machine. It also features a book block feeder and a milling station for precise block preparation. For binding, the machine offers hotmelt spine and side gluing, with premelters for both functions to ensure consistent adhesive application. The cover feeder is a wide drum type with a flap folding station, and the system includes two nipping and pressing stations, along with a lay-down device. The Book Data Center (BDC) manages production data, and conveyor belts facilitate smooth material transport. An optional front cutter is available upon request. The associated stacker is a Mueller Martini CB 16, also from 2006, which operates at a mechanical speed of 7,000 cycles per hour.
